Meet Karina Cook

Tell us about yourself. What do you do? What is your mission or goal?

My name is Karina Cook. I am a Tax Professional with Benefits I help Estheticians, Spa Owners, and Service-based Businesses to Educate, Organize, Save Money with Taxes, and Scale their Business so they can Build Generational Wealth.

My mission is to Educate Individuals & Businesses about Taxes and their Finances to give them access to resources and tools so they can be the best version of themselves and not stress about their finances while they're building their dreams.

I started getting into the Finance industry back in 2016. When I had my son I started as a Teller and moved up to Senior Banker. I then decided to learn Bookkeeping and worked as a full charge Bookkeeper in the wine and spirits industry. I learned so much there and decided to sharpen my skills with Taxes and Notary, in 2019, right before Covid. COVID was a pivotal moment for me and my Business. I have now worked with over 20 business owners to help build their businesses and save money.

What challenges did you have to overcome at the beginning of your journey?

The challenges I overcame were really just believing I can do anything, that I am worthy to help and educate people, and getting past the limiting beliefs that held me back from blessing other people with what I offer, I’m still in the beginning and each day I have challenges but I choose to keep my focus on my mission and the lives I want to change and help.

Knowing what you know now, is there anything you would have done differently when you were first starting out?

I would not do anything differently, everything I've done has given me wisdom and lessons that I wouldn’t have been able to know had I not gone through those things.

What do you do on a daily basis to grow as an entrepreneur?

I make sure to invest in myself, and in my craft, and take coaching from amazing coaches who are in the position I’m aspiring to be in. Say daily affirmations, Set boundaries

Take care of my needs, network with people, take risks, and learn from my mistakes

How do you define success?

Success is me growing to have a profit of 7 figures in my Business. Yes, you read it right! “7” because you can MAKE 7 figures easily but can you have this money as TAKE home in YOUR pocket?

When I am able to spend time with my family while business is still running without me there. When I’m able to make all my big goals that I’m scared about but still try it and nail it!

Helped get through a successful IRS audit after going public as a publicly-traded company
Helped a company grow to 1 million dollars
Helped my clients save over $100,000 in Taxes owed to the IRS
Educating clients about Finances and getting them to the next step of their business
Volunteered at the boys and girls club omega helping the program director implement plans and programs to enrich lives
Top lending producer at US bank, checking account growth
